The Residential Clean Energy Credit, currently at 30% of the system's cost, was extended and expanded under the Inflation Reduction Act. This incentive is set to be phased out by 2035 unless Congress opts for an extension.

Moreover, there's an additional 10% tax credit if your solar panels are domestically manufactured. Additionally, according to guidance from the Treasury Department, eligibility for this bonus requires that all steel and iron manufacturing processes occur in the US.
